Plans for our return!

The Hull Philharmonic Orchestra’s committee is working hard behind the scenes to establish a series of concerts for 2021/22.  Hopefully we won’t have to wait much longer before a return of live orchestral music in Hull!

Our current plans include a shorter Sunday afternoon concert on September 18th when we will play a programme including Brahms Symphony No 2. We are also planning our evening concerts for Saturday, November 27 and Saturday, February 26 – programmes for both will be made up of requests from members, friends and supporters of the orchestra. Saturday, May 14, will be our musical director’s farewell concert as he will retire after more than 40 years. The sensational programme is Mozart Clarinet Concerto with soloist John Bradbury, Elgar Enigma Variations and Brahms Symphony No 4. More details will follow on all of these concerts as we navigate the restrictions created by the pandemic. We look forward to seeing you soon.
