In tune with your company's aims

Something old, something new, something challenging

Support from the business community helps us to maintain and build on our already considerable achievements. Aligning your brand with the Hull Philharmonic Orchestra offers mutual benefits and demonstrates your commitment to the cultural life of our city and the wider region, especially as Hull will be City of Culture in 2017.

Organisations can support the orchestra in a number of ways including becoming a Hull Philharmonic Business Partner, by sponsoring a specific concert or artist or by advertising in concert programmes.

A partnership relationship with us enables you to raise your company’s profile whilst offering you corporate hospitality with a difference:

  • Access a wide audience through prominent branding and media exposure
  • Entertain your guests at performances
  • Share the experience of exciting live music with your employees
  • Meet corporate social responsibility objectives by supporting a leading cultural organisation

As a Hull Philharmonic Business Partner we can work with you to put together a package of benefits that could include:

  • Corporate hospitality, complimentary tickets, a discount scheme for employees, accreditation in programmes and publicity material, public relations opportunities, website recognition
  • The orchestra can also be used as a corporate training resource. In partnership with Fusion Leadership, specially devised Theme and Variations presentations provide valuable team building and leadership workshops
  • The Hull Philharmonic receives no public funding so business partnerships are important to us. Current and previous supporters include Williamsons Solicitors, Arco, BP, Spire Hospitals, Devine Law, Finn Forest, Garness Jones, Greggs, Mapa PR, Houlton, Sadofskys, Smith and Nephew, Wadsworth Osteopaths, Fusion Leadership.

Young Audience Ticket Scheme

We have been running our Young Audience Ticket Scheme for many years to ensure that our concerts are accessible to the area’s school and college students. The scheme is invaluable to our audience development efforts, providing a concert experience to people who may not have considered attending before. It helps young people in the area to get a broader musical education and allows them to experience the wonder of a live symphony orchestra.

For more information on the scheme and to enquire about sponsorship, please contact the Hull Philharmonic Orchestra’s administrator at [email protected]
